SPARKLETACK (?)

This post has been a long time coming. Both Kate and I have been working, caring for homes, caring for cats, caring for credit card debt (I wish that one would grow up and move out!), trying to find a permanent place to live, and attempting to have a little fun out here in sunny and expensive California.

There is good news. There is bad news. Because you don't go online and surf over to "Fun Removal Squad" for bad news, I'll skip it and go right to the G-D point: we got an apartment. It's so freaking awesome I can't even finish this sent

We'll be living in a cute little place in San Anselmo. Our landlords (is it too early to call them "new friends"?), Sandor and Helene are firefighters and kick ass all over the general area. Daisy the dog does awesome tricks and Ronald likes to chase and, eventually, hump her. Everyone has a good time. Details: garden, all new inside the apartment, small-ish, lovely, inexpensive, a place to unpack my duffle bag for the first time in three freaking months! Again, my excitement prevents me from completing sentan

Pictures, you ask? Well shit, if I had some I'd post them don't you think? So no picutres right now, but seriously, stay tuned and you'll see pictures of me and Kate snoozing in out empty new apartment. Empty because we have no furniture, having moved out here with only clothes and such.

Here's a picture to tide you over. I feel that it provides a sense of the excitement and general warmfuzziness of our current condition: The title of this post? Do your questions never end? Inquisitive, you. In an effort to learn more about my adopted region I have begun listening to these very well-done podcasts about history and such. Perhaps you will listen, become inspired, and record similar products about your chosen region. Help for doing such a thing is available from the good people at Transom . Happy listening! http://www.sparkletack.com

I had almost given up checking your blog - quite the hiatus!

I am excited to hear about your new place, can't wait to see the pictures.

I look forward to talking with you two soon.

Congratulations on the place! I'm happy for you, I really am, and it's not like I was secretly hoping things would fall apart for you out there and you'd have to hang your heads and schlep back East and hang out with us in our Back Bay APARTMENT ON COMM AVE NEXT DOOR TO TOM BRADY'S HOUSE!!

The firefighters and the dog on dog humping sounds like a good time. Sorry we're missing it.
