I'm getting pumped to hear
Bishop Allen play the Middle East next week (5/4). I just got the EPs from January, February, and March in the mail today. So then I checked the website to see if the April EP was available and linked to
BLOWW. Boston League Of Women Wrestlers is going to have a match at the show. I'm not the kind of guy that's going to enjoy that. I'm already bracing myself to resist the very strong compulsion to leave the show as soon as it gets crowded. Now there will be actual women fighting each other and people surrounding me who want to see it. What shall I do? Shall I save my $12? Shall I suck it up and excuse myself to the restroom when they start poundin' each other? 'Course then I'm hanging around in a public men's room. What do you call a fear of watching women wrestlers? I don't think I'm actually afraid of the wrestlers, just of watching them. Kinda weird.

Have you checked out their website? Looks more like beer drenched hilariosity than sleazy exploitation.
You could always get set times the day of, and avoid it.
Awww come on. We're just a bunch a wild girls, who like to have a great time. The show's a hoot. It's a throwback to the old G.L.O.W. shows, which a lot of us grew up on. You'll definately have an evening to blog about.
F.Y.I. B.L.O.W.W. goes on after Bishop Allen. :)
Hopefully we'll see you!

Yeah, let's go for it. Guys night out, sausage party, etc. etc. We just might find that we could get used to this.
Then we can pit our spouses against each other. Who do you think would win in a cage match? Donna or Kate?
