Our nephew Izayah Edward Deveney was born on Sunday. 6lbs.13oz. 20 inches. Not sure why that is important unless there's a legal limit below which they have do be "caught and released" in order to preserve the wild populations of human babies. Ike and mom are healthy and rockin' the hospital garb.

WE'RE UNCLES!...AND AUNTS! BOTH!

Way to rock the alternate spelling, BTW.
As an educator I worry that "Ike" will get annoyed with always having to correct his teachers... 'No, not like in the Bible, spell it this way...' and/or 'No, not Ih-zye-ah, Eye-zay-uh'. Thoughts like these are what give this blog it's name and general tone. A new baby! Yay! Isaiah with a 'Z'? Outrageous! I'll blog it!
