WBUR FUND DRIVE
Kate and I had a fun time volunteering for a shift during WBUR's Spring Fund Drive. Phone rings, you chat with folks, record information, do some good for the station. It's all very nice. They had free coffee and breakfast and thank-you-gifts for us! Kate got a Car Talk CD and I got an Edward R. Murrow biography written by Bob Edwards. Totally worth waking up early. Theater critic Bill Marx sat next to us. He seems nice enough, even if here rarely enjoys anything he sees at the theater. He made the computer he was using shut down simply by hitting th e "Enter" key. Genius! Aren't anecdotes fun?

If you don't have anything nice to say, say it loud.
