PEOPLE REALLY CARE. What ballgame? I attended the MBTA preliminary meeting for the Green line extension into Somerville tonight. Lots of good points made by good people. More details will be in the newspapers tomorrow, I'm sure, but for the real on-the-ground action, you can attend the next MBTA Planning Study meeting, which will look at ridership figures and some of the real meat that informs the decision-making process. I am glad I went to this meeting. It made me want to live in this city for a long time.
