Bin Laden hints major assassination - The Washington Times: Nation/Politics - August 11, 2004... states that al Qaeda wanted to disrupt the U.S. presidential election, hoping for anyone but Bush. It's not really news, but I was thiking... can this be a Republican campaign tactic? Are the desires of extremists now going to be used in an attempt to re-elect GWB? They hate GWB because he's been so rough on them. Let's have four more years of the rough stuff! Keep those assasins at bay! I can see it now, campaigners preying on public fear. Playing up doubts about John Kerry and his possible course of action against terrorists. Are you serious, though?!
