Anyone but Bush...
So here's a mind-bender. US Intelligence agents advise that a high-profile assassination will be timed with a forthcoming message from Osama Bin Laden. This news story...
Bin Laden hints major assassination - The Washington Times: Nation/Politics - August 11, 2004... states that al Qaeda wanted to disrupt the U.S. presidential election, hoping for anyone but Bush. It's not really news, but I was thiking... can this be a Republican campaign tactic? Are the desires of extremists now going to be used in an attempt to re-elect GWB?
They hate GWB because he's been so rough on them. Let's have four more years of the rough stuff! Keep those assasins at bay!
I can see it now, campaigners preying on public fear. Playing up doubts about John Kerry and his possible course of action against terrorists. Are you serious, though?! Do you think that real intelligence of this type, upon being presented to John Kerry, would lead him to say
Sounds like UBL is upset... we should send him a fruit basket.
Real leaders don't love terror, they love justice. Real presidents don't love invasions, they love free and safe elections. Real religious leaders don't love death, they love peace.
